This next generation miniaturized minitrough system has been designed to meet the requirements of very small size, very small subphase volumes (tens of
milliliters), modularity, ease of use, portable, custom size etc. Key features:
The size of the instrument (width, length, height) can completely be defined by the customer. This enables the tailoring of the instrument for a wide range of special
applications (Brewster angle and Fluorescence microscopy, X-ray diffraction studies, UV-VIS and IR spectrometry etc.).
The very flexible design combined with the key features of all KSV:s LB systems makes this MiniMicro LB system a very
useful and powerful working tool for a wide range of fields working with monolayers, nanotechnology, biotechnology, molecular electronics, pharmaceuticals, just to mention a few.
- On-line digital displays to show real time status of surface pressure, barrier position, dipper position, temperature, pH, AD-DA converter etc.
- Remote control keypad to drive the barriers and dipper without PC control.
- Balances have a wide measuring range (0-250 mN/m)
- Easily exchangable one piece (no glue sealing in the dipping well) PTFE trough as a standard.
- Symmetric compression by two barriers as a standard.
- Dipping in the centre of the trough as a standard.
- Hydrophilic (Delrin) barrier material to avoid film leakage.
