Custom Designed Products
KSVīs openminded philosophy and our general motto "anything is possible"
enables the customer to have made custom designed instruments for a range of different surface chemistry applications. These products are often jointly designed on the basis of the specifications and other requirements given by the customer.
KSV has made a number of custom designed instruments ranging from a tensiometer for high temperatures to special Langmuir instruments, troughs, and parts for tensiometers.
The most recent custom designed products made by KSV are listed below.
- Interfacial trough for oil/water interface with the possibilty to measure electrochemical properties of monolayers
- Interfacial trough for oil/water interface for microscopy studies of monolayers
- Trough for dipping a 30x30 cm2 substrate on one side only
- Langmuir trough for Gracing Incident X-ray Diffraction (GIXD) studies
- Black Lipid Membrane (BLM) equipment for measuring ion current trough ion channel proteins embedded in lipid membranes
- Alternate deposition LB trough for 6" wafers
